First time here and brought my dad because he's been looking for currywurst forever! We absolutely enjoyed the food and my father said this was far much better than the german restaurant near him in Hendersonville. My wife got the half schnitzel with red cabbage and fries and I got the wurst platter with spactzle and Bratkartoffeln. The beers were good. We just couldn't figure out what kind of radio station was being played. It didnt sound German but Dutch.
Everything was phenomenal! Food, service, and atmosphere are spectacular! This was our first time here, and we've already told friends and family about our experience and have made plans to come back soon!
We came here on a busy Friday night, and loved every minute! From the atmosphere, friendly servers and delicious food; this is a really unique and fun spot to eat. We tried the schnitzel with potato salad and fresh cut fries. The cheese bomb burger looked awesome, I would definitely try that nice time! All of the German beers are authentic, and they are happy to give samples which was great. Such a fun Biergarten, even in the middle of winter! Would definitely go back. The people working there were also very friendly, accommodating and hard working.
This place is wunderbar! The decor is exactly what you want and the food is top notch. The goulash is excellent, the fried sauerkraut balls are brilliant, and the sauerbraten has excellent flavor... fork tender and perfectly savory. The schnitzel is thin, tender, and tasty as can be. If you're in the area, please do yourself a favor and swing on by.
Absolutely delicious! The giant pretzel really is giant and tasty. Great sauerkraut balls served with tasty German potato salad. Had jagerschnitzel with spetzel and red cabbage. We also tried their wings- delish!! Everything was tasty and great atmosphere.
The food is amazing, the beer options are authentic, and the atmosphere is mesmerizing. I felt like I had been transported to Germany. The prices are very reasonable for the quality you are getting. Definitely a gem of the Greenville area. I'll be returning on future work trips.
THE DECOR WAS AMAZING. The atmosphere was so cozy I loved just being there. NOT TO MENTION THE FOOD. I've never had proper German food, and wasn't expecting much to be honest, BUT I WAS SO WRONG. Everything had so much flavor and was unique enough to distinguish itself ill definitely be back for more. Also they had bendy straws
AMAZING! My family and I have always loved Hans and Franz, and we are so happy it is sticking around after the owner passed away. Went here the other night and it was great. Service was amazing (can’t remember our servers name but she was so sweet and got us everything we wanted!) I had the wiener schnitzel which never disappoints. Chefs kiss
